Role Overview The Head of Marketing will lead Futures Inc.’s marketing and communications strategy with both creativity and analytical insight. This individual will balance hands-on execution with big-picture vision—ensuring that our brand is consistent, compelling, and driving measurable results. They will serve as the chief storyteller for our organization, deepening relationships with our community, donors, and sponsors. The ideal candidate is a “do-er”—someone who can roll up their sleeves to manage daily marketing tasks while building long-term strategies for growth and impact. Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies aligned with the mission and goals of Futures Inc. Manage day-to-day marketing efforts including print collateral, digital design, social media, email campaigns, and website content. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels. Oversee creative production (graphics, videos, campaigns) to support programs, events, and organizational storytelling. Partner with leadership and development staff to align marketing strategies with fundraising goals. Create donor-focused campaigns and collateral that inspire giving and strengthen relationships. Support donor database growth and segmentation to improve engagement and stewardship. Market fundraising events, pop-up shops, and community outreach initiatives. Brand Strategy & Storytelling

Oversee design, messaging, and tone across all platforms to ensure a clear and consistent brand voice. Craft and share compelling stories that highlight impact and inspire engagement. Produce marketing materials and campaigns that elevate Futures Inc.’s presence and mission. Community Engagement

Build awareness of Futures Inc. through partnerships, media outreach, and events. Collaborate with leadership to attract and engage donors, sponsors, and community partners. Analytics & Insights

Use data to evaluate campaign performance and inform decisions. Clearly communicate the “why” behind strategies and adjust based on insights. Lead a small marketing team (staff and/or volunteers) and manage outside vendors as needed. Partner with program, fundraising, and leadership teams to align marketing with organizational goals. Qualifications

7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (nonprofit experience preferred). Strong understanding of branding—able to both set strategy and execute tactically. Exceptional storyteller with excellent writing and communication skills. Analytical mindset with experience using data and insights to shape decisions. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners. Creative, resourceful, and mission-driven. Strong project management skills with the ability to balance strategy and execution. Collaborative, flexible, and proactive. Competitive pay and benefits. Seniority level
