Community Impact Relationship Manager – Fifth Third Bank, Cincinnati, Ohio. The role focuses on managing assigned region assessment area risk related to Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance. Provide local expertise and communicate with region senior management and key internal and external stakeholders. Oversees a region/primary cities and/or a market with relatively low complexity and inherent CRA risk weighting. Lead the implementation of the bank's CRA and Community and Economic Development strategies at the region level within assigned assessment areas to mitigate CRA performance risk. Act with integrity and compliance: understand and follow policies and procedures, always aiming to deliver a positive customer experience while operating within the bank's risk appetite. Achieve results by identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Assess community needs and execute the bank’s strategy to build strong communities, ensuring alignment with the community and economic development vision and priorities. Develop and implement strategies to remediate CRA performance gaps to achieve an outstanding CRA performance rating. Develop and lead relationships with key community partners and nonprofit organizations, as well as internal region and Bancorp leaders and partners in marketing and communications, corporate social responsibility, government relations, business resource groups, and the Fifth Third Foundation. Develop and maintain a strong network of community development stakeholders and partners, as well as centers of influence for engagement in community development and other CRA-related efforts. Develop and lead partnership opportunities between Fifth Third Bank employees and community-based organizations to meet CRA performance objectives. Lead the development of regional CRA-related market execution plans and initiatives to accomplish CRA performance goals for assigned assessment areas. Represent the bank as a market leader in the community, including serving on boards/committees/task forces that support low- and moderate-income communities and attending community events related to CRA/“community development.” Work with internal business partners to drive engagement of region associates in community development initiatives. Build CRA-related business development relationships through ongoing outreach with existing and prospective customers in partnership with lines of business. Lead community development activities as a visible representative of Fifth Third Bank in the community. Identify and evaluate community and economic development partnerships and the impact of the bank’s philanthropic investments and nonprofit sponsorships. Contribute to the company’s CRA exam by ensuring programs and initiatives support and benefit low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities. Facilitate the activation of community and economic development sponsorship requests and partnerships. Manage the regional charitable contributions budget and local giving council to ensure charitable investments align with the bank’s strategic priorities. Establish and maintain a network of market community development intermediaries (including government agencies), non-profit and for-profit organizations. Complete compliance training requirements. Understand and promote the use of community development/reinvestment programs/initiatives/subsidies that advance the region’s community development lending and position the region as a market leader in CRA matters. Minimum Knowledge & Skills Required

3-5 years of experience implementing/managing CRA/community development strategies In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to CRA Experience in a large bank with CRA-related consumer products and services, small business banking, and/or community development lending; CRA-qualified tax credit initiatives preferred Ability to analyze CRA performance and market data and prepare qualitative/quantitative assessments; effectively communicate results to varying levels Strong project management skills to develop and implement plans across assigned areas Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders and partners Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Ability to work independently and with a team to identify opportunities and solutions contributing to CRA performance Ability to analyze and interpret information to drive CRA performance Ability to execute and lead implementation of CRA strategies across various lines of business Prior regulatory experience preferred Bachelor’s degree required Location
