GENERAL FUNCTION: Cultivate external relationships in the assessment area that contribute to the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance and business objectives, including mitigating reputation risk. Implement community development initiatives and collaborate across banking lines to execute community development service and investment initiatives, as well as CRA-related business development strategies. Assist the regional community and economic development manager with CRA assessments by analyzing community development investments and service test performance. Responsible and accountable for risk management by following policies, raising concerns, and ensuring actions align with the bank's risk appetite. Always aim to do the right thing for customers and colleagues, fostering a positive customer experience. Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain community partnerships to support community development service and investment activities. Implement and manage community development initiatives aligned with CRA performance and business goals, including reporting activities to the community and economic development/market manager. Assist in forming community development strategies to enhance CRA performance. Refer CRA-related business opportunities to appropriate business units. Support regional community development service goals and market execution plans. Coordinate engagement of internal teams in community development initiatives. Participate in joint calling efforts with business partners as directed. Assist in CRA performance assessments, including meetings and report preparation. Identify community development qualified service and investment opportunities within assessment areas. Represent Fifth Third Bank in community outreach and evaluate community partnerships impacting charitable investments. Support non-profit funding recommendations. Participate in community development and CRA training programs. Support sponsorship requests and community partnerships. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 3-5 years of experience in CRA/community development strategies or initiatives (preferred). Knowledge of CRA laws and regulations. Understanding of community development sectors such as affordable housing and social services. Banking experience with CRA-related products, small business banking, or community development lending. Experience with CRA-qualified tax credit initiatives (preferred). Ability to analyze CRA performance data and prepare assessments. Project management skills for developing and implementing initiatives. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to improve CRA performance. Bachelor's degree preferred.
