General Description: Prism Health North Texas seeks a mission-driven and people-focused Community Marketing Manager to lead strategic community marketing and outreach initiatives aimed at increasing patient engagement, promoting health equity, and driving clinic utilization across the Dallas area. This leadership role bridges grassroots community engagement with high-impact marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to cultivate partnerships, manage campaigns, supervise staff or contractors, and develop hyper-local, community-based growth strategies. This manager will serve as both a strategic lead and a boots-on-the-ground ambassador—executing activations, building trust, and amplifying brand presence at the neighborhood level. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities of the Job: Strategic Community Engagement Develop and execute a strategic plan for community-based marketing and outreach that aligns with organizational growth goals. Cultivate high-impact relationships with community stakeholders including nonprofits, schools, churches, civic leaders, and local businesses. Identify and pursue opportunities for community partnerships, sponsorships, and co-branded initiatives to build trust and expand access to care. Serve as a public-facing representative of PHNTX at key events, panels, and neighborhood forums. Coordinate boots-on-the-ground outreach including tabling, street team marketing, flyering, canvassing, and community activations in priority zip codes. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. Programs, Development, Prevention) to ensure cohesive execution of agency-wide outreach, avoiding duplication and aligning with broader strategy. Supervise and support team members and volunteers assisting with outreach and events. Oversee scheduling, staffing, and logistics for agency-sponsored outreach events not tied to specific grant deliverables. Lead the planning and execution of localized marketing campaigns and activations that reflect community needs and cultural context. Partner with the Director of Marketing to shape messaging strategies that resonate with diverse populations, especially underserved groups. Provide creative direction and feedback on content creation, print collateral, branded materials, and event signage. Ensure all field and community-based marketing aligns with brand standards and organizational priorities. Oversee the development of storytelling initiatives featuring patients, partners, or community voices. Manage localized advertising and media buys (e.g., community papers, outdoor, digital) tailored to specific neighborhoods and audiences. Data & Reporting Monitor and report on the impact of community marketing initiatives using KPIs such as referral volume, event ROI, and engagement metrics. Maintain systems for tracking outreach activities, community feedback, and relationship management. Provide regular insight reports to the marketing team and leadership to refine outreach strategies and improve outcomes. Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated leadership experience in community marketing, outreach, or public engagement. Strong project management and team coordination skills. Excellent communication and public speaking abilities, with a track record of trust-building in diverse communities. Deep familiarity with grassroots outreach and/or Dallas community networks strongly preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Mailchimp, social media platforms). Knowledge and experience in basic graphic design and video editing a plus. Experience with street team or guerrilla marketing, grassroots campaign execution, or localized media buying preferred. Experience managing staff, interns, or volunteers a plus. Occasional evening/weekend availability and local travel required. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public health, or related field—or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in community engagement, marketing, or nonprofit outreach, preferably in healthcare or social services.
