LPG – Neurology is seeking a full time physician
board eligible/board certified in neurology fellowship trained in movement disorders
to partner with our recently hired functional neurosurgeon to develop our tremor program. There will initially be some general neurology involved but the ultimate goal is for the incoming physician to focus on 100% movement disorders. The practice has outpatient clinics at Plantation by Gulf Coast Medical Center and works collaboratively with the Neurohospitalist program to provide high quality care for the community. Candidates for this position will be required to do bread and butter neurology initially. Benefit Highlights

Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 624 bed acute care facility that is centrally located in Fort Myers FL. Gulf Coast Medical Center houses the Neuroscience Institute, orthopedic services, and general surgery. The hospital offers 24/7 access to emergency care and minimally invasive catheter procedures to treat stroke, as well as a dedicated neuroscience intensive care unit.
GCMC is a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with 2 certified Primary Stroke Centers at Cape Coral Hospital and Lee Memorial Hospital. Lee Health has the area’s only Level II Trauma Center and DNV Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. Lee Memorial Hospital is a 362 bed Level II Trauma Center serving Lee County and the surrounding areas, 24/7 ER with exceptionally trained staff, and houses the Rehabilitation Hospital.
