O’Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting for an experienced Design Manager to join a leading main contractor on a large-scale high value scheme in the Suffolk area.
The project will involve extensive upgrades to an existing building.
Responsibilities
Managing the design process relating to upgrades of an existing building
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical submissions for compliance and buildability
Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve design queries
Ensuring all design meets statutory regulations, client requirements, and project objectives
Supporting delivery teams with technical guidance throughout delivery phases
Requirements / Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Design Manager (or similar role) within the construction industry
Proven background working on large-scale high value (£100m +) schemes
Strong design management, coordination, and technical review skills
Relevant qualifications and professional memberships are desirable
