The Brand Content Specialist plays a key role in shaping and sharing the voice of Project for Pride in Living. This person will develop compelling content across digital and print platforms to elevate our brand, engage supporters, and celebrate the impact of our programs. From donor communications to participant stories, this role blends creativity with strategy to build deeper connections with our audiences. Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling
Produce content for social media, blog posts, donor materials, and annual reports Interview program participants, staff, and partners to craft authentic, mission-aligned stories Collaborate with program teams to translate complex data and outcomes into accessible, inspiring narratives Brand Voice & Messaging
Support the development of brand guidelines and help teams apply them effectively Digital Engagement
Create and manage content calendars for social media and email campaigns Work with the digital team to optimize content for SEO and audience engagement Campaign & Event Support
Develop promotional materials for fundraising campaigns, events, and community initiatives Assist with video scripts, signage, and other creative assets as needed Qualifications
3+ years of experience in content creation, communications, or marketing—preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) Passion for equity, housing justice, and workforce development Preferred Skills
Experience with video production or photography Knowledge of SEO and digital analytics Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus Benefits
