The Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri - Columbia is seeking a full-time Cognitive and Behavioral Neurologist to join our vibrant and growing Neurology practice. Join two additional Behavioral Neurologists, both with leadership roles in the institution, and they are looking to expand our clinical offerings and research opportunities. Clinical and some didactic teaching is expected, and the opportunity to precept in resident clinic is available. Opportunity Details: Join the neurology department of 30+ physicians and neuroscientists Opportunities to assist in the department's growth, the education of medical students and residents, and pursuit of other academic/research interests. Strong collaboration with Health Psychology for psychometric testing State of the art imaging capabilities including PET and 7T MRI No night call Practice Schedule M-F 8 AM-5 PM All ranks available commensurate with experience As the largest Neurologic Care Team in mid-Missouri, the department's facilities include: A dedicated 28-bed Neurosciences Center with 6 bed EMU 30-bed Neurosciences ICU AANEM Lab Accreditation with Exemplary Status NAEC Level IV Epilepsy program DNV-Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center Certified MDA/ALS clinics An accredited Sleep Program Outpatient infusion center Our academic programs include a neurology residency program and six ACGME accredited fellowship programs: Clinical Neurophysiology Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology (dual UCNS certification) Sleep Medicine Advanced Sleep Medicine Vascular Neurology Neuro Critical Care (dual UCNS certification) NextGen Precision Health, MU Center for Translational Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory offers a vast array of academic and research opportunities. There are established basic and translational research programs with 30+ clinical trials in Neurology.
