Overview The Stephens Family YMCA seeks a talented, organized professional to help advance the mission of our Y through the creation and delivery of clear and compelling marketing strategy. The ideal candidate should have experience directing or implementing an overall marketing strategy for an organization of similar size. Experience with project management, digital marketing, branding, asset creation and supervision of marketing staff are useful areas/skills that are needed in this role. A successful candidate will be highly organized, detail driven, a passionate leader, and have a desire to help advance the overall mission of the YMCA.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or relevant field of study.

Five or more years of relevant work experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to compose narratives and write and edit compelling stories.

Experience working with website content management systems and willingness to learn the Open Y platform.

Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

In-depth understanding of all social media platforms, analytics, SEO, and other digital marketing trends.

Strong project management skills.

Knowledge and use of AI tools to advance marketing initiatives.

Ability to contribute to and maintain a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communication.

Superb time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize complex assignments with little supervision.

Ability to engage and interact positively and professionally with community leaders, volunteers, members, and coworkers.

A track record of outstanding people management, including the ability to motivate and engage others, lead change, and produce results.

Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community; track record of building authentic, constructive relationships with others.
