Senior Staff Accountant/Acct Supervisor (Direct Hire) Bakersfield, CA Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Occasional Overtime Required) Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000 per year Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional seeking a stable and rewarding career opportunity? We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team! This direct-hire position offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking. Support budgeting and forecasting activities. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations. Assist with audits and regulatory reporting as needed. Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Must have 3+ years of professional staff accounting experience. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
