About TFD-Temperance:

TFD-Temperance, like every Heartland Dental supported office, is uniquely tailored to the community and patients we serve. With the backing of a practice manager and a highly trained team, you’ll have access to all the resources and support from Heartland Dental.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current dental hygienist license in Michigan and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
  • Strong knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience:
  • 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
  • Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions.
  • A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions.
