Location: American Family Dentistry – Southaven

Schedule:
  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current dental hygienist license in TN and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Strong knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A passion for continuous learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs.
  • Ability to address clinical needs as required by the office.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform essential duties as required by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
  • As part of our commitment to a safe environment, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions.
