Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of clinical experience
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills for preventative care and maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by the office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
• TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (pre-employment). Not applicable in the states of FL & TN
