HR Coordinator
Interested in an HR Career with Chick-fil-A? The Chick-fil-A at West Midtown, Howell Mill Road, and Georgia Tech locations are looking to hire a team member to work a dual role in the organization. Our HR Coordinator will not only sharpen their skills working on Human Resources responsibilities such as screening, selection, onboarding, employee management, retention and evaluations but will also become a Chick-fil-A expert in our restaurant operations. This role mirrors our Leadership Development Program which will help candidates build their career within our Midtown Chick-fil-A's, the Chick-fil-A Corporate Office, or even set you on the path to become an operator!
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside team to develop relationships and execute operational excellence
- Engage with daily plans to ensure execution of HR tasks
- Actively participate in the HR recruiting, onboarding, and training process
- Managing applicant tracking and scheduling with leadership team and candidates
- Lead new hire orientations
- Complete interviews for team member candidates
- Meet weekly with at least 2 Operations leaders (coaches, certified trainers) to identify and resolve people issues
- Help improve organizational workflow by analyzing processes and procedures
- Partner with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute on ideas related to hiring, retention and attracting candidates
- Support recruiting needs - (high school career fairs, college career fairs)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pursuing or completed degree or certifications in human resources or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Available 40-45 hours per week
- Team player, positive attitude, outgoing ability to engage with applicants and the team
- Technically proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft, Mac, and common applications
