About the Role:
The Janitor/Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the exterior areas of the facility. This position combines janitorial duties with groundskeeping and lawn care, ensuring that the property provides a welcoming and well-kept environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in janitorial, landscaping, or groundskeeping roles preferred
- Ability to safely operate lawn care and cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Perform daily exterior cleaning, including sweeping sidewalks, walkways, and entrances
- Collect, empty, and dispose of outdoor trash, debris, and recycling from designated areas
- Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, trimming, watering, aerating, and fertilizing as needed
- Trim shrubs, hedges, and small trees; weed flower beds and landscaped areas
- Rake leaves, remove weeds, and clear walkways, driveways, and parking lots of debris
- Perform seasonal maintenance such as snow removal, salting/ice control, and leaf collection
- Pressure wash building exteriors, sidewalks, and other outdoor surfaces when required
- Inspect exterior areas regularly to identify maintenance, safety, or security concerns and report issues promptly
- Safely operate and maintain lawn care and cleaning equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power washers
- Follow all company safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment
- Assist with minor building maintenance and special projects as assigned
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform maintenance tasks.
- Work is primarily performed outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions.
- May occasionally assist with light maintenance inside the facility.
