teams partner with clients to design and deliver solutions for a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations are based on rigorous research and analysis, underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership. The Health Plan and Provider (HPP) team
within ZS is a growth venture focused on strategic offerings and client segments that help achieve ZS's mission—improving life and how we live it. HPP operates like a mission-oriented start-up backed by a large global firm, aiming to build an ecosystem of payer/provider clients with a long-term partnership mindset, fostering innovation in healthcare and unlocking synergies across sectors. What you’ll do Identify the problem statement and break it down into smaller components (e.g., issue/logic tree). Own a project workstream (data/content synthesis, insights/findings). Develop storyline/board of the workstream in a clear, easy-to-understand framework. Work effectively in teams—communicate, participate, collaborate, motivate. Leverage problem-solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions to client business problems. Assist in structuring and conducting market or desk research to derive insights and support client decision-making. Design custom analyses using tools like Excel, Access, Confirmit, and ZS's proprietary software. Synthesize and communicate results to clients and teams through oral and written presentations. Develop relationships with Health Insurance/Health Plan clients and serve as a key contact on projects. Support program management—update status, mitigate risks/issues, and drive project progress to meet goals and deadlines. Enhance problem-solving capabilities and contribute to ZS's growth. Mentor and support the development of Associates on your projects and teams. What you’ll bring PhD or Master’s degree with quantitative coursework in fields like business, economics, marketing, psychology, life sciences, or social sciences; or 2-5 years relevant professional experience if without a PhD. At least 2 years of relevant Health Plan experience; a PhD may substitute for experience. Experience with healthcare business processes/analytics preferred. High motivation, strong work ethic, maturity, and initiative. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Empathy, adaptability, and high personal impact. Strong attention to detail and quality focus. Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks. Enjoyment and aptitude for team leadership.
