teams partner with clients to design and deliver solutions for a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations are based on rigorous research and analysis, underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership. The Health Plan and Provider (HPP) team
within ZS is a growth venture, focused on strategic offerings and client segments aligned with the ZS mission—helping improve life and how we live it. Operating like a mission-oriented start-up backed by a large firm, HPP aims to build an ecosystem of payer/provider clients committed to long-term partnerships, healthcare industry innovation, and cross-sector synergies. What you’ll do Identify the problem statement and break it into smaller components (e.g., issue / logic tree) Own a project workstream (data/content synthesis, insights/findings) Develop storyline / framework for the workstream in a clear, understandable manner Work effectively in teams—communicate, participate, collaborate, motivate Leverage problem-solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions for client business problems Assist in structuring and conducting market research and desk research to derive insights and support client decision-making Design custom analyses using tools like Excel, Access, Confirmit, and ZS's proprietary software Synthesize and communicate results through oral and written presentations to clients and ZS teams Develop client relationships with Health Insurance/Health Plan clients and serve as a key contact for project aspects Support program management, conduct status updates, mitigate risks/issues, and ensure project goals and deadlines are met Enhance problem-solving capabilities and contribute to ZS's growth Mentor and support the development of Associates on your projects and teams What you’ll bring PhD or Master’s degree with quantitative coursework in business, economics, marketing, psychology, life sciences, or social sciences. Alternatively, 2-5 years of relevant professional experience. At least 2+ years of relevant Health Plan experience; a PhD may substitute for work experience. Experience with healthcare business processes/analytics preferred. High motivation, strong work ethic, maturity, and personal initiative. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Empathy, adaptability, and high personal impact. Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset. Self-discipline in planning and organizing tasks. Aptitude for and enjoyment of team leadership.
