To perform finished product evaluations and microbiological testing in both the laboratory and in Production. Perform lab testing such as: shelf life studies, chemical analysis, standard plate counts and coliforms. Perform swab testing of environment and equipment. Perform Allergen cleaning verifications and validations through rapid methods testing and sample collection. Create in house labels in Colos software and submit for reviews. Review current retail labels for in process hold and release.

Kettle Cuisine takes the upmost pride in their products and expects each employee to do the same with their work. Duties and Responsibilities To collect, process and identify samples as required. Analyze food samples (raw & finished products). Create case labels from labeling software and submit to Regulatory for approval. Environmental monitoring to support verification and validation of cleaning and sanitizing procedures. GMP auditing of facility, employee practices and procedures as assigned. Communicate all non-conformances against established standards, perform follow ups when actions are completed. Trend data for micro, ATP and EM swabs results. Special projects to support continuous improvement activities as assigned. Complete and submit reports on deliverables assigned per Management. Required Skills Basic Understanding of GLP's, at least 1- 2 years of laboratory experience preferred. Some basic labeling experience preferred. Strong written and communication skills at all levels. Strong computer skills, such as excel, word, and internet. Excellent attention to detail. Desired Skills Associates degree preferred in lab science-based discipline. Statistical analysis and basic mathematical skills. Basic laboratory skills. Americans with Disabilities Act

The QA Lab Technician base pay range $25-28 USD/hourly. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine's good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Lynn, MA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee's rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The QA Lab Technician position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for the annual discretionary bonus program up to 5%.
