JOB SUMMARY

The Aircraft Painter is responsible for preparing, processing, and painting aircraft parts and assemblies in accordance with technical specifications, safety standards, and company procedures. The role requires expertise in painting techniques, surface preparation, and the operation of manual and robotic spray equipment. The painter will also maintain certifications, adhere to safety requirements, and support team members through training or assistance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Move and obtain correct parts, materials, and tools within the assigned area. Use precision measuring instruments to accomplish work assignments. Access and navigate electronic systems as required; complete company-provided training. Work safely and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. Train, coach, or assist fellow employees as needed. Maintain personal certifications and qualifications to perform job assignments. Ensure equipment and tool certifications are completed per procedure. Report errors in parts, procedures, tools, or sequences. Representative Duties (Tulsa #670D only):

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and electronic work instructions. Set up and operate chern-mill processing equipment to remove metal from parts, including experimental or complex shapes. Operate and adjust ovens, furnaces, and quenching tanks for heat treating metals; use hand/power equipment to place parts. Operate processing equipment to anodize, electroplate, or clean metal parts; monitor chemical solutions. Operate paint spraying equipment or apply coatings via dip, roll, or brush on aircraft parts and assemblies. Thin and mix paints and surfacing materials. Operate robotic spray coating equipment, managing program tapes, masking, material blends, flow rates, pressures, and spray patterns. Apply finish coats in areas requiring precision and special care. Apply radar absorptive materials using robotic spray equipment. Perform rework and touch-up as required. Record manufacturing data manually or digitally. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 years of aircraft painter experience. Must be able to work any assigned shift, including overtime and weekends. Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift. Must successfully complete a demo to verify painting ability. Cannot be a former Client contractor/employee. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of anodizing, electroplating, and robotic coating systems. Ability to interpret complex blueprints and specifications. Experience with radar absorptive coatings.
