About the Role

The Company is in search of a strategic Senior Director or Vice President of Manufacturing Operations to take the lead in its food manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of production, scheduling, quality, and inventory control, ensuring that products are produced on time, to specification, and in line with the company's quality and growth objectives. This key operational leader will also be deeply involved in cross-functional collaboration with business, commercial, and R&D teams to position the facility for efficient and effective product delivery. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in a manufacturing role within a food or consumable-related category, with at least 3 years in a senior operations leadership position. The role requires a proven track record in scaling production operations, particularly in a fast-growing environment, and a history of successful partnership with R&D teams. A deep understanding of food manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements is essential, as is experience in building and managing high-performing, cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be adept at data-driven decision-making, and possess excellent communication and leadership abilities. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, operations, or a related field is required, with an MBA or advanced degree being a plus. Experience with manufacturing ERPs and warehouse management systems is also necessary, and experience with early-stage food brands or rapidly scaling manufacturing environments is a desirable addition.
