The Company is seeking a VP, Business Development for its Interventional Group. This strategic role is pivotal in driving the commercial strategy within the industry segment, with a focus on establishing and managing sales and customer engagement strategies, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative market strategies, managing customer relationships, and leading a business development team with a strong emphasis on accountability and continuous improvement. The role also involves overseeing large projects and M&A integration activities related to the market segment.
Candidates for the VP, Business Development position should have a BS in business, marketing, or a similar field, with a minimum of 15 years' experience in commercial or general management leadership roles, particularly in contract manufacturing with medical OEMs. A proven track record in planning, implementing, and analyzing performance against objectives and KPIs is essential, as is experience in managing operational performance within financial budgets. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate and manage effectively at all levels, and familiarity with medical device assembly and component manufacturing. An MBA is preferred, and the position demands both domestic and international travel, with a travel requirement of approximately 25-50%.
