Position Overview:
They are actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead local commercial projects. With a strong pipeline, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a stable role where your expertise and leadership will make a direct impact.
Project & Company Highlights:
- Scope: Ground-up and renovation work across commercial sectors
- 20+ years of strong subcontractor relationships ensure smooth project delivery
- President/Owner is highly involved in daily operations and team support
- Reasonable flexibility for family needs (e.g., kids, weather)
- All projects are local to the Greater St. Louis area
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and field teams
- Oversee contract negotiations, buyout, and cost tracking
- Collaborate closely with Superintendents to ensure safe and efficient jobsite performance
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the company’s supportive culture
- Utilize project management software (Procore or similar) for documentation and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- 8+ years of progressive commercial construction experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office
- Team player with a solutions-driven mindset
