We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. This position is responsible for designing fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with safety codes and standards, and collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality fire protection solutions.
Work on projects up to $5 million in size
Design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA codes and standards
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on project designs
Prepare detailed design drawings
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and verify existing conditions
Review and analyze project specifications and requirements
Assist in the preparation of project estimates and proposals
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and technologies related to fire protection
High School Diploma or GED
~2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler system design
~ NICET certification in Fire Protection or equivalent preferred
~ Proficient in design software such as AutoSprink, HydraCAD, SprinkCAD, or AutoCAD
~ Strong understanding of NFPA codes and fire protection principles
~ Strong communication and project management skills
