Overview Our Client, a Public Utilities company, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for their Oakbrook Terrace, IL/Hybrid location. Responsibilities Leading the gathering and documentation of business requirements from stakeholders. Analyzing and documenting complex business processes and workflows. Developing and maintaining business process models and documentation. Developing comprehensive functional and technical specifications for system enhancements or new systems. Facilitating meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress. Identifying and documenting project risks and issues, and developing mitigation strategies. Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and define project scope. Leading the development and testing of new systems or enhancements. Providing leadership and mentorship to junior business analysts. Providing training and support to users during system implementation and post-implementation. Participating in the evaluation and selection of software and systems. A Senior Business Analyst should have strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. They should have a deep understanding of business analysis principles and techniques, as well as experience with project management methodologies. Requirements SQL, Technical database design, fiber knowledge Advanced SQL & Database Engineering Skills, strong proficiency in writing stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with source control systems for SQL code management., broad understanding of fiber workflow (route design, splicing, but power).
