Senior Labor & Employment Attorney

to join their team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will focus on employment-related matters, handling litigation cases and representing employers in lawsuits and administrative proceedings involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and unpaid wages. The candidate should have 8-10 years of experience. Key Responsibilities: Provide advice on labor and employment law issues, such as wage and hour disputes, discrimination, and wrongful termination. Advise clients on compliance with state and federal employment laws. Represent clients in administrative proceedings and court actions. Investigate potential labor law violations. Handle employment litigation, including preparing legal briefs and determining litigation strategy. Draft and review employment-related documents like contracts and severance agreements. Collaborate with HR and management on company policies and employee handbooks to ensure legal compliance. Conduct training programs for HR and management on employment law compliance. Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly. Key Qualifications: Expert knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Analytical skills to analyze complex legal issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining complex legal concepts to non-attorneys. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Attention to detail in preparing and reviewing legal documents. Problem-solving skills to develop practical solutions to complex employment issues. Collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing parties. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases and deadlines.
