We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Grant Accountant to join our client's team, working directly with a leading healthcare/non-profit client in Boston, MA. Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, shift: First, work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM, education: Bachelor's
Responsibilities
Reconcile bank account activity to bank statements on a monthly basis, record all journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, maintain balance sheet account work papers monthly and make sure they tie to the general ledger and balances contain appropriate back-ups. Maintain Solomon fixed assets, run month depreciation reports for GL entry, reconcile fixed assets balance in GL. Review and ensure the capital items are appropriately and timely recorded. Record journal entries for prepaid expenses. Record monthly accruals for assigned GL accounts for preparation of financial statements and preparation of financial reports to the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors. Review building operations and ensure invoices are properly coded for payment directly by the entity by or through posting to the Due to/From accounts. Complete monthly allocation spreadsheet and prepare GL entries to support monthly Condo Fee computations and reconciliations and other activity and track balance from Condo Trust unit owners. Reconcile grants receivable and temporary restricted net assets on a monthly basis. Prepare banking, management fee and other miscellaneous journal entries and work papers to support entity balances. Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements, executive summary, and other materials for the finance committee meeting and the board meeting.
