What You’ll Do: Enjoy working directly with clients to make a sale? Can you develop creative engagement opportunities to promote hotel services? The Group Sales Manager is an integral part of the revenue generation of a hotel. You will be responsible for soliciting past and new business and ensuring guests are satisfied. Here are some tasks you can be expected to complete on a daily basis: Sell guest rooms, catering services, and banquet facilities to guests. Manage accounts. Conduct site inspections. Network through participation in community and professional associations, activities and events. Where You’ve Been: You must have at least a bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years in hotel sales or comparable experience. You are someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work well under pressure. Most importantly you are a people person! You must work professionally and positively with guests and clients at all times.
