How You Will Make An Impact We are seeking a strategic and performance-driven sales director to lead and scale our pure play ecommerce business. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth across key online retailers (e.g., Amazon, Chewy, etc), owning the P&L, developing the channel strategy, optimizing assortment and brand presence, and executing best-in-class digital merchandising programs. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership

Own and drive the e-commerce sales strategy for Freshpet pure play accounts. Identify and build high-impact growth initiatives to scale the Freshpet brand and overall Fresh food pet category. Develop annual and quarterly strategic revenue plans and manage account P&Ls.

Account Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with category leads at major pure play e-commerce platforms. Negotiate annual JBP (Joint Business Plans), trade terms, and growth programs. Collaborate with account teams on content optimization, reviews, and product placement.

Performance & Optimization

Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance, customer behavior, ROAS, and relevant KPIs. Drive assortment and pricing strategies and A+ content execution. Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure alignment and support for account execution.

Digital & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with digital marketing teams on media planning (search, DSP, affiliates) for pure play platforms. Partner with supply chain and operations to ensure OTIF performance, in-stock levels, demand planning accuracy, and minimal chargebacks.

Financial Management

Develop channel P&L forecasts, manage trade spend, and monitor margin performance. Identify risks and opportunities in financial plan delivery and recommend actions.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. 7–10+ years of e-commerce sales or account management, with at least 3–5 years focused on relevant pure play (e.g., Amazon, Chewy). Proven success managing online accounts and growing market share. Deep understanding of Amazon’s retail and marketplace ecosystems, tools, and algorithms. Strong negotiation skills and experience in Joint Business Planning (JBP) with Amazon and/or Chewy. Strong analytical skills and experience with retail analytics tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Profitero, NielsenIQ). Proven leadership and team collaboration skills. Highly organized with a strong sense of accountability and ownership. Preferred Skills: Experience in managing 3P partners or Amazon agencies. Experience managing Amazon Advertising campaigns and budgets. Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and eCommerce dashboards. Compensation:
