As a VP of Sales, you will be responsible for delivering revenue growth within our Retail industry vertical and coaching of a team of Account Executives within your industry vertical. The VP of Sales is a self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, and solving complex problems with limited oversight. You will have superior communication and networking skills but also strong people management and leadership skills to hire, grow and develop stellar talent. Leading by example and coaching your team to achieve o9 sales targets, the team you lead will directly impact the growth of the overall organization. You will master impactful client engagement and understand how your customers do business in an ever-changing environment, not taking no for an answer and finding ways around it. You understand the complex landscape of a deal and navigate it with finesse and intelligence. You will coach your team to develop their careers and inspire them to do their best work.**What you’ll do for us…*** Build a strong and multi-million revenue stream of net-new revenue coming from new accounts in your industry vertical.* Lead a team of Account Executives in your industry vertical to help grow the business and achieve the team’s targets while leading some of the key sales initiatives.* Help hire, train, coach, and develop the future leaders of o9.* Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required.* Develop a winning team by coaching direct reports on strategies to drive sales targets.* Engage with the wider GtM organization to launch marketing campaigns, attract Executives to the AIM10X Executive Council, work with the Digital Marketing Campaign on turning MQLs to SALs, etc.* Reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management* Build strong relationships with the Executive Team of our prospects* Consistently monitor ongoing team sales activity, and track results* Actively lead and monitor demand generation activities, driving customer awareness and engagement.* Develop and execute successful sales campaigns that engaging C-levels in enterprise customer organizations.* Manage prospect escalations and issues.* Develop required corporate relationships and executive engagement to support success.* Work cross-functionally across the organization.**What you’ll have…*** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, Master’s degree preferred* 10+ years of strategic enterprise sales and coaching experience with the ability to build strong relationships in the industry vertical* Proven track record of selling multi-million dollar deals* Self-starter with passion, energy, willingness to learn, and an entrepreneurial mindset* Strong people management skills and empathy with a passion for developing teams and helping talent grow.* Inspire and lead team members, holding them accountable and putting the right measures in place for them to succeed.* Ability and demonstrated history of building relationships with strategic client and industry thought leaders and translating relationships to commercial success in the region/vertical* Understanding and knowledge of digital transformation, integrated business planning and enterprise decision making.* Executive presence and ability to communicate while making an impact with senior executives and decision-makers* C-level expertise and solutions selling attitude and ability to develop a strong sales strategy* Proactive individual, who is self-motivated, self-directed, ambitious, and highly productive* Low on ego, high on interest to contribute to the benefit of your peersThis position at o9 Solutions has an annual salary range of $208,080-$286,110.
