Overview

LHH is seeking an HR COORDINATOR for a direct hire position in NW Houston, TX.

Position: HR COORDINATOR
Type: Direct Hire or Contract-to-Hire
Location: 100% onsite (Houston, TX 77041)
Salary Range: $60,000-70,000 annually DOE
Work Schedule: M-F, 8 am-5 pm

NOTE: Candidates MUST have experience utilizing and applying AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, ChatGPT) to improve HR workflows and reporting to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across HR functions including onboarding, benefits coordination, and compliance tracking
  • Coordinate and execute employee engagement activities and events (e.g., team-building, celebrations, lunch setups)
  • Design and prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for internal and external HR communications
  • Assist with pre-employment screening, background checks, and I-9 verifications
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Paycom preferred)
  • Support benefits open enrollment and respond to inquiries via the HR Service Desk ticketing system
  • Compile and analyze HR data for executive and board-level reporting
  • Apply AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, ChatGPT) to improve HR workflows and reporting
  • Respond to employment verifications and manage workers’ compensation claims
  • Conduct regular audits of HRIS data for accuracy and compliance
  • Support other HR projects and tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or administrative support roles
  • Healthcare industry experience highly preferred
  • HR certification (PHR, aPHR, or SHRM-CP) is a plus

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
  • Experience with Paycom HRIS system a plus
  • Strong knowledge of AI tools and their application in HR
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
  • Creative, collaborative, and culture-driven mindset

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
