Position Description
Position location: Topeka, Kansas City, Manhattan, Denver, or Dallas office. Prepare formal bids and provide accurate material and labor take-offs Utilize Tekla EPM Software to compute labor, material, and shipping costs Utilize BlueBeam Revu Software to analyze and markup construction drawings Communicate accordingly with general contractors, trade partners and vendors Review and compare supplier bids for buyout products such as (Joist and Deck, Grating, Architectural Railings, etc.) Assist in repricing of costs associated with Change Orders Collaborate with operations to provide constructability and coordination reviews of the project documents Position Requirements
College degree in Construction Science or Civil Engineering required Knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals preferred Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Analytical and problem-solving skills required Good time management skills required
