Position Description
Sales & Relationship Management:
Partner with sales to secure projects and identify upsell opportunities. Act as the customer's main point of contact, setting and managing expectations. Contract Review:
Thoroughly review contract terms to align with TFI's interests. Negotiate payment terms and secure down payments. Schedule Management:
Create and manage project schedules. Identify and mitigate potential risks. Engineering & Releasing Overview:
Facilitate kick-off meetings and ensure a smooth handoff to production teams. Procurement Overview:
Oversee materials procurement and vendor management. Continuously evaluate suppliers. Production Support:
Monitor internal teams to ensure project quality. Facilitate communication among production teams. Shipping & Packaging Support:
Coordinate with shipping department to meet customer expectations. Ensure packaging meets industry standards. Accounting Review:
Manage project budget and cash flow. Regularly review project profitability. Summary:
Must excel in communication, both within the team and with customers. Must adhere to the mantra: communicate early, communicate often, and document everything. Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in project management preferred, ideally in manufacturing or construction. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills required. Proficiency in project management software preferred.
