Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager will oversee key accounting functions, manage a team of 2–4 professionals, and ensure accurate GAAP-compliant reporting. This role is responsible for financial leadership, compliance, operational improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate, timely financial statements and support SOP development for accounting functions.
- Mentor and lead the accounting team while overseeing expense reporting, payments, and daily operations.
- Support internal audit requirements, compliance with regulations, and enhancement of internal controls.
- Optimize ERP/accounting systems to improve efficiency and reporting.
- Assist CFO and Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in service, construction, or related industries preferred.
- ERP system experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills required;
- Power BI a plus.
