Competitive, based on experience. Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will oversee key accounting functions, manage a team of 2–4 professionals, and ensure accurate GAAP-compliant reporting. This role is responsible for financial leadership, compliance, operational improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Manage month-end close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial variance analysis. Ensure accurate, timely financial statements and support SOP development for accounting functions. Mentor and lead the accounting team while overseeing expense reporting, payments, and daily operations. Support internal audit requirements, compliance with regulations, and enhancement of internal controls. Optimize ERP/accounting systems to improve efficiency and reporting. Assist CFO and Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in service, construction, or related industries preferred.
