Ideal Candidate Location

DC - Baltimore, MD - Virginia - Philadelphia, PA (or any location in North East near a major airport).

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports assigned Territory Managers to drive sales revenue by covering cases, conducting product in-servicing, and product demonstrations.
  • Communicates new business opportunities and new product interest directly to the Territory Manager.
  • Builds and maintains sustainable business relationships within accounts supported.
  • Coordinates with field sales, logistics, timing, strategy, and execution of customer evaluations.
  • Performs product demonstrations, customer education, and in-servicing as required.
  • Develops and maintains excellence in clinical knowledge within relevant disease states.
  • Develops and maintains excellence in territory management and selling skills.
  • Controls expenses within budget and manages resources according to BD guidelines and policies.
  • Maintains open, positive, productive communication with the sales team, customer service, sales management, and home office associates.
  • Demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by adhering to the BD Quality Policy and related procedures.
  • Completes required administrative duties on time with appropriate detail (e.g., call reports, monthly results, expense reports, and other items as assigned).

About You

  • Experience working in a team environment, preferably within a sales environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral communication, organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment; strong information gathering, analysis, problem solving, and independent thinking skills.
  • Good judgment and maturity.
  • Understanding of basic mathematical processes and ability to assimilate numerical information.
  • Ability to travel 80%, including overnight travel.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company.
  • Must possess and maintain a criminal background satisfactory to BD.
  • Must be able to meet customer/medical facility access requirements, including regular or periodic drug screenings with satisfactory results.
  • Must have and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination per Company policy/guidelines.

  • Role may involve work in a home office, hospital, HCP office or clinical environment; frequent travel within defined geography is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Product expert with priority product or products.
  • Certified Radiology Tech or Cath Lab Tech.
  • Mammography experience.
  • Frequent travel required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience with Interventional Radiology Lab, or Cardiac Cath Lab, Mammography Rad Tech.

Salary Range Information

$63,900.00 - $105,400.00 USD Annual
