Overview

Restaurant Manager at Rams Head Group. The Rams Head Group is seeking an energetic, professional leader for the position of Restaurant Manager. This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of hourly employees. The Restaurant Manager will participate in the inventory, ordering and general accounting of all F&B products and general restaurant supplies. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the financial performance of the restaurant by raising and maximizing sales through passionate customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Follows, represents and sets the example for all company policies, procedures and standards, while ensuring adherence
  • Ensure consistent high standards for the restaurant, in all areas
  • Build great employee teams
  • Ensure the facility is clean and free of maintenance issues while maintaining proper sanitation practices
  • Monitor restaurant performance and develop corrective action plans when problem areas are identified
  • Manage shifts including daily decision making, scheduling, planning, product quality and cleanliness
  • Investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints to ensure complete guest satisfaction
  • Hire, supervise, develop and, when necessary, terminate employees
  • Conduct new employee orientations, explain Rams Head philosophies, and oversee training
  • Provide strong presence in the local community and a high level of community involvement by restaurant and personnel
  • Help to grow and protect the Rams Head brand

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years operational experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume environment, preferred
  • Prior experience in the restaurant industry required
  • Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish at an intermediate level, a plus
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred in business, hospitality or culinary field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and POS Systems
  • Night-time shifts preferred
