Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties: Perform routine custodial services, including cleaning, sanitizing, stocking of restrooms, removal of trash and recyclable materials, window and entry glass cleaning, carpeted and hardfloor maintenance (vacuuming, spot cleaning, extracting carpeted floors, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, burnishing, stripping and refinishing of hard surface floors).
Provide building access and security through snow removal services within the regular Monday–Friday schedule and on weekends as necessary and through daily unlock/lock up services.
Provide custodial support for athletic events at Moby Arena and Canvas Stadium within the regular schedule and on weekends when necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Six months of custodial services experience in an institutional or commercial environment.
Substitutions: N/A
Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating and/or maintaining basic custodial tools with minimal supervision; experience with vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, wet/dry vacuums, floor scrubbing/polishing machines, buffing and related cleaning operations; experience with snow removal; ability to use computers and electronic mobile devices for business needs and team communication; strong customer service skills; directly related state service experience.
