Overview
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in western Nassau County to fill an Accounts Payable & Finance Specialist opportunity. This is a direct hire opportunity and can pay $70-$90K depending on experience. Hybrid – one day from home.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable: Review, code, and input vendor invoices; ensure proper authorization and sales/use tax compliance.
- Determine 1099 eligibility and assist with annual 1099 process.
- Process payments (checks, ACH), obtain signatures, and mail payments.
- Handle positive pay exceptions and research uncashed checks for reissue.
- Review vendor statements, resolve payment inquiries, and process expense reimbursements (Chrome River).
- General Ledger: Prepare journal entries and monthly account analyses.
- Assist with matter/employee maintenance in Aderant.
- Accounts Receivable: Record incoming wires/checks and process client credit card payments.
- Investigate payments with missing remittance info.
- Payroll: Input and review payroll in Ceridian Dayforce; backup for payroll transmission and W-2 review.
