Overview
The Human Resource Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding qualified candidates to meet the organization's staffing needs. This role involves developing recruitment strategies, managing the hiring process, and collaborating with hiring managers to ensure a seamless and effective talent acquisition process.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage recruiting and retention efforts, ensuring timely and effective hiring processes.
- Access and maintain job postings and applicant information in our Applicant Tracking Software.
- Attend job fairs through schools and external vendors to promote recruitment opportunities.
- Review resumes, screen candidates, and coordinate interview schedules.
- Oversee onboarding processes and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately.
- Conduct employee background checks as required.
- Collaborate with the HR Director on wage scale inquiries.
- Work with the Administrative Assistant to schedule interviews, issue badges, and handle replacements.
- Help maintain up-to-date job descriptions for all employees.
- Ensure recruitment activities and records comply with federal, state, and organizational policies.
- Adhere to EEOC guidelines and employment laws in all hiring practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract qualified candidates and build a robust talent pipeline.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and define job requirements.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to improve recruitment processes.
- Participate in setting department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
- Keep accurate and audit-ready Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records.
- Ensure corporate compliance with AAAHC and HRSA standards.
- Support management teams with special projects, grants, and other initiatives.
- Source candidates through various platforms, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviews, and offer negotiations.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate onboarding to ensure seamless integration for new hires.
- Represent the organization at career fairs and community events to enhance its employer brand.
- Assist with additional HR tasks, such as performance management and employee engagement programs.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the centers.

- Ability to understand and/or interpret complicated program instructions and Florida laws.
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations, including ACA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, EEOC, AAAHC, and HRSA.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Must be able to effectively manage workflow and maintain high-quality standards in environments where staffing levels may be below ideal, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate with the team under pressure.
- Ability to use office equipment, including computers, copy machines, fax machines, telephones, calculators, and more.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred.
- HR experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and Florida employment laws.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel to various center locations as required.
