Position Overview: This is a hands-on role ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys autonomy and variety. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of HR operations in a stand-alone capacity, including payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time
- Administer the company’s 401(k) plan and ensure compliance
- Manage annual benefits renewals and coordinate with brokers/providers
- Serve as the primary contact for employee benefits questions and issue resolution
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for all roles
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and candidate profiles
- Maintain job postings and manage relationships with external recruiters
- Employee Lifecycle Management
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws
- Support employee engagement and performance initiatives
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
- Act as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a small or growing company
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and benefits administration
- Experience managing 401(k) plans and compliance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
