Position: Railcar Cleaning Technician

Location: Beaumont, TX
Shift: Day or Evening (at least one technician per shift)

Iron Horse Rail Services is hiring Railcar Cleaning Technicians to join our team. This is tough, industrial work — not janitorial cleaning. Our technicians work in confined spaces, wear chemical suits and supplied air, and use heavy-duty cleaning equipment to prepare railcars and tanks for safe reuse.

What You’ll Do

• Clean the interiors and exteriors of railcars and tanks using high-pressure equipment and industrial chemicals.
• Work in confined spaces, wearing full PPE (chemical suits, respirators, supplied air).
• Handle and properly dispose of industrial waste.
• Perform minor disassembly, inspection, and care of cleaning equipment.
• Follow strict safety procedures every day.

What We’re Looking For

• Comfortable with hard physical labor (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, crouching, working outdoors in heat/cold).
• Able to work safely in confined spaces and at heights.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with industrial cleaning, hydroblasting, blasting, or tank/railcar work is a big plus.
• Must be reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn.
