Key Responsibilities: Clean and degrease parts using solvents or other cleaning agents Sand, grind, or blast surfaces to remove rust, scale, or old coatings Mask parts according to specifications to protect areas from paint Inspect parts for cleanliness and proper surface prep before coating Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols Qualifications: Previous experience in industrial paint prep, sanding, or masking preferred Comfortable using hand tools, grinders, and other prep equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE use
