You will create machine learning models, develop high-performance applications, and design full-stack system software. Your responsibilities will include defining the software vision and architecture, ensuring seamless integration with hardware, and scaling a world-class engineering team. As part of our leadership team, you will represent the software function at a senior level, collaborating closely with the hardware engineering team to deliver deeply integrated, high-performance systems. This role demands strong people management skills, mentorship of engineers, and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and open communication. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years of professional experience in software engineering, including 5 years in technical leadership roles. Essential qualifications include deep hands-on expertise in Rust, machine learning model design and integration (specifically with neural networks), familiarity with GPU programming, and full-stack development. A strong understanding of software architecture, code quality, and security best practices is critical. You should have a proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. A passion for mentoring and developing talent is essential. Experience with computing hardware architectures and embedded systems integration is a significant advantage.
