Job Summary and Qualifications This is a full-time position (Monday - Friday, days) with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties. As a Medical Assistant, you'll provide essential clinical expertise to ensure high-quality patient care. Your role will include: Preparing patients for examinations by taking medical histories and vital signs. Setting up exam and treatment rooms, including sterilizing instruments and maintaining supply levels. Administering injections and assisting with lab tests and phlebotomy. Assisting physicians with minor surgeries and physical examinations. Managing incoming calls to the practice and screening for referrals. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program, twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience, or current Medical Assistant certification. All candidates must achieve certification within one year of employment if not already certified. Graduates from Medical Assisting training must obtain a clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment. Active and unrevoked certifications (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) are preferred.
