Job Summary
We are looking for a Medical Assistant in our Patient Care Team, working full-time (Monday - Friday, days) with no evenings, on-call shifts, weekends, or holidays. You will provide essential clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care.
Your Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examination and treatment by collecting patient histories and vital signs.
Set up examination and treatment rooms with required instruments, ensuring all supplies and equipment are properly maintained and sterilized.
Administer injections, assist with lab tests, and perform phlebotomy as needed.
Support physicians during minor surgeries and physical exams.
Manage incoming phone calls, screening them for referrals.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or at least twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting, or current Medical Assistant certification.
Candidates with one year of medical experience without certification must obtain formal certification within one year of hiring.
Recent graduates of Medical Assisting programs should secure clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment.
Active, unrevoked certifications such as RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA are highly desirable.
