Ask your interviewer for details. *Not available in AR. Responsibilities Carry out janitorial and cleaning tasks to meet established quality and safety standards. Utilize protective gear during all cleaning activities. Complete assigned cleaning tasks on time. Notify supervisors of any equipment or cleaning product needs or issues. Dust mop and damp mop various floors, including classrooms and common areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, and communal spaces. Dispose of trash and empty wastebaskets regularly. Respond promptly to paging system alerts and requests from staff and students. Follow infection control and universal precautions to maintain hygiene standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous custodial or janitorial experience, particularly in a school setting, preferred. Capability to comprehend and follow both oral and written instructions. Willingness to consistently perform routine tasks. Ability to execute responsibilities independently after training. Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts are a must. Must be able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours each day. Must have the strength to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to work around food and cleaning products. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as mandated by state, local, and/or customer regulations. A background check is required.
