Inpatient EMR Systems Manager
Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Hawai'i Pacific Health facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Hawai'i Pacific Health's numerous facilities and administrative offices. Our Database team is responsible for providing the support and maintenance of the IT system's extensive databases. As the Inpatient EMR Systems Manager, you will responsible for carrying out overall management responsibilities relating to the design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of EPIC applications that pertain to Clinical Operations (e.g. Epic Clin Doc, ASAP, Orders, Optime, Anesthesia, etc). You will also ensure the system will improve quality, cost, and/or overall effectiveness of services and/or operations. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and helpful, with excellent organizational and communication skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai'i. Five (5) years experience in functional analysis, system design and/or business applications, including two (2) years project management experience. Five (5) years experience supporting an Electronic Medical Record information system and/or working in a clinical setting.
