Summary:
As an Entry-Level Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team by collecting and processing blood specimens for laboratory testing. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Collect blood specimens using techniques appropriate for various age groups.
- Label, process, and deliver specimens efficiently for testing.
- Oversee maintenance of supplies and equipment to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, which may include clerical support, patient registration, lab processing, and point of care testing.
- Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, to be obtained before your start date.
