FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Summary: As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, testing, repairing, and modifying heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related temperature control systems. Your expertise will ensure our facilities operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance support to air handling units, exhaust systems, VAVs, BAS, and chilled water systems, ensuring optimal pressure, temperature, and humidity levels.
  • Inspect equipment for malfunctions, make necessary adjustments or repairs, and recommend modifications to improve efficiency.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance according to established schedules and maintain thorough records to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects, offering insight on critical equipment and systems.
  • Conduct and supervise airflow and balancing tests for compliance with accreditation and infection control standards.
  • Exercise critical thinking and decisive judgment while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Credentials:
  • Essential: HVAC Mechanic certification.
  • High School diploma or GED; trade-specific education preferred.
  • Completion of an EPA-approved HVAC technician certification program. Additional local certifications may be required.
  • 3 years of related experience, with at least 1 year of direct experience in HVAC systems.
