Engineering Technician

This position serves as the technical resource responsible for providing engineering, product, and installation information essential for executing new and reconstruction cooling tower projects. Responsibilities include generating installation and fabrication drawings, along with bills of materials, for basic cooling tower components under supervision. Assist with field problem resolution and design and development of new components. Conduct cooling tower inspections as required.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is required.
• 0-3 years of experience in detailing and application of structural, mechanical, and materials detailing skills.
• Experience with practical construction and assembly of products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Product experience in cooling tower design is preferred but not required.
• Experience with all materials of construction including lumber, fiberglass, steel, and concrete is a plus.
• Some travel may be required.

Work Environment:

The work environment involves interaction within the power generation, industrial, refrigeration, and HVAC evaporative cooling markets. It includes responsibilities related to new and replacement field-erected cooling towers and various cooling tower aftermarket services, including replacement parts.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
